The Alaska Highway Safety Office, in partnership with the Center for Safe Alaskans, is hosting a Car Seat Check-up event on Monday, September 16th. The event will be held in the Sheraton Anchorage parking lot from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This free, open event will support drivers and caregivers in increasing the safety of all vehicle occupants. This is a free, open event where caregivers who have questions about their car seat or who are not sure how to install it correctly will be supported by Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians to install their car seat and ensure your child is harnessed correctly.
